I'm in my early 60's. Where was this 30 years ago. This totally enables me to work alone in my later years. Simply essential.

Little nervous about the price when we purchased our first Grabo Pro Lifter. We just recently purchased our fifth. Those first couple are still in use and holding charge after 18 months of jobsite life. Like the rest of our cups, we try to take care of them in hopes they'll take care of us. We have outfitted a couple of them with the narrow cup (sold separately) to help with tight radius pieces of glass (place the long dimension of the cup opposite of the curve). Actually have used them as pick points on some large lites of insulated / laminated. In the end, they have been worth the money. Hoping the new ones serve us as well as the oldest ones.

Installing floor to ceiling sheets of Silestone solid surface slabs in a shower is not only heavy but can be hazardous maneuvering the heavy (!!!) sheets. With two Grabo Lifts two guys can place the sheets in the corner of the showers with minimal clearances. I have one new and one older Grabo lifts. The newer version with it's digital display gives battery life, and a better measure of vacuum than the original with it's Bourdon tube gauge. I've never used them on anything other than the engineered slabs but they were worth the investment.

One of the best investments that I’ve made. It takes all the load off. The grip is super strong.

Extremely versatile and works even better than advertised. A must have to anyone who is in construction or getting ready to start a remodel.

These things seem to be everything they claim to be, at least as they perform out of the box. Unclear yet about durability and repairability down the road but they seem like solid German engineering and production standards. Customer Service North America doesn't seem to exist. Number listed in the product manual seems to ring someone's cell phone that never picks up or takes a message. Email inquiries never get responses.

I love these things and they work great. I use it mostly to move sheets of plywood. A little expensive but well worth it.

I've been putting up shelves and have used these with a laser level and the Izzy Swan add-on for the Grabo to hold the shelves and 2x4s accurately in place until I get the mounting hardware set.
Occasionally they struggle to adhere to the wall, but they hold. When they struggle you can hear the vacuum kick in to keep it on the wall and it continues to work.
Definitely a great help if you are working on a number of jobs on your own.
